The Garrison Restaurant has always had a reputation for innovation and quality since its beginnings over 35 years ago and has become somewhat of a institution on Norfolk island.

Kurt and Jill Menghetti (both Chefs) carry forward that tradition.

Kurt, an Islander and Jill from Australia met while training on the NSW central coast in award winning restaurants. Returned home with an Idea to create quality (mainland standard) food using as much of the excellent local produce as possible.

To them every night is a special occasion and take pride in what they do, quality food, great service and relaxed ambience in a modern setting.

Highlights include their signature dish Carpaccio of local eye fillet, homemade pasta and bread, fresh local fish and desserts from classics made with respect to more adventurous offerings.

The wine list is a selection of New Zealand and Australian wine with five available by the glass as well as local beer on tap.

Be sure to make a reservation as they only except 30 bookings per night .
